Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager/Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping client companies grow and a strong understanding of the advertising, marketing and media production landscape. This role involves managing the daily tasks for clients’ marketing, as well as developing new clients in our service areas: digital advertising through Google Ads and Programmatic advertising, video production, graphic design, website development, and traditional media placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients while transitioning client management tasks to our creative team for web development, graphics, production, etc.
  2. Develop New Clients:
    • Identify potential clients; develop and present consultative presentations with potential clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions
    • Prepare and deliver customized proposals for graphic design, website development, digital advertising, video production, and media placement.
  3. Market Research and Strategy:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing team to refine sales strategies and improve service offerings.
  4. Sales Reporting and Administration:
    • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
    • Maintain accurate records of client projects and client development using CRM software.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams including the client account manager, production, graphic design, and digital advertising to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with media planners and buyers for effective media placement and advertising campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in advertising, media sales, and client project management.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising (particularly Google Ads), video production, graphic design, website development, and media placement.
  • Knowledge of media buying and relevant strategies and terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation: This is a base salary plus commission plan. It is commensurate with your experience and comparable to other agencies and mass media positions.
