Ad House Advertising’s Matt Smith, co-owner and COO, is among the 2024 graduating class of Leadership Sandoval. This was the 31st class to complete the leadership program. More than 560 regional business professionals have graduated in the past.

During the 10 month educational experience, 22 participants learned about current challenges facing Sandoval County and how to help become agents of change. The class split into 3 groups,  each charged with completing a project for a non-profit. Matt, whose daughters have attended Early Learning Preschool, helped organize a renovation of the 40-year-old non-profit’s facility. His group raised over $12,000 in cash; obtained a donation of $37,000 in flooring from our longtime client, The Floor Store; and provided a total value of services of $61,900!

To showcase the renovation and to help Early Learning Preschool, a non-profit educational collaborative, recruit new students, Matt also produced a promotional video.

The class groups research, plan, develop and work, using their connections and leadership skills, in order to implement a specific project that will impact Sandoval County. The project must be completed within the class timeline. Upon completion, these new members become a part of a network of graduates who keep in touch with each other as they serve on boards and committees across the county.
